Representative Payee

The Representative Payee program manages Social Security benefits for individuals with disabilities and infirmities of aging. The Social Security Administration must determine that the individual needs this service. The program sets up a monthly budget and pays bills for basic needs such as rent, utilities, medical needs, food, clothing and provides money for other needs within the constraints of the budget. There is a monthly fee for this service. Contact the local Social Security Office at 1-866-334-4997 to start your application then contact the Representative Payee Program at the KHDS main office, 262-764-8555, and ask for a representative payee.
